TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective Date: August 15, 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to the website and services provided by The Unseen Step, based in Pennsylvania, United States.
“The Unseen Step,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the service provider. “You” and “your” refer to the person or business using our website or purchasing our services.
ACCEPTANCE AND ELIGIBILITY
Please read these Terms before purchasing a service.
When you expressly accept these Terms during checkout or enter into a service agreement that incorporates them, you agree to be bound by them.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase our services. If you purchase on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to act for that business.
Acceptance of these Terms does not, by itself, constitute consent to marketing text messages or any tracking or AI processing that requires separate permission.
WHAT THE UNSEEN STEP DOES
The Unseen Step helps businesses identify where work is being missed, delayed, left unowned, or lost between steps.
Our services may include reviewing questionnaires and documents, discussing business processes, preparing workflow findings and recommendations, and providing separately purchased implementation support.
The Unseen Step focuses on operational causes. Financial results may help reveal a problem or measure improvement, but we do not provide standalone financial analysis, financial advisory services, accounting, bookkeeping, tax advice, or legal advice.
SERVICE SCOPE
The services, deliverables, price, and any stated timing are described on the applicable offer page, checkout page, or written service agreement.
Lead Leak Checkup
The Lead Leak Checkup examines the workflow from inquiry to booking. It includes a Workflow Findings Report, a 15-minute Strategy Walkthrough, and next steps.
Full Workflow Assessment
The Full Workflow Assessment provides a broader review of the business workflows described in the purchased offer. It may involve questionnaires, discovery and validation discussions, findings, and recommendations.
Implementation services
Implementation is included only when expressly stated in the purchased offer or a separate written agreement. An assessment purchase does not automatically include building automations, changing software, managing employees, or carrying out recommendations.
Any assessment-fee credit toward further services is governed by the terms disclosed for that offer. It is not a cash refund.
A separate written agreement may provide additional terms. If it expressly changes a provision of these Terms, the written agreement controls for that service. Nothing overrides rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND TIMING
You agree to:
• Provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge
• Tell us when important information is missing, uncertain, or has changed
• Provide documents and information reasonably needed for the purchased service
• Attend scheduled discussions or contact us if you need to reschedule
• Review findings and raise questions or corrections
• Decide whether and how to implement recommendations
You must have authority to provide any documents or information you submit, including information about employees, customers, or other people.
Provide only information needed for the assessment. Do not submit passwords, account keys, complete payment card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Delivery timing depends on receiving the required materials and completing any necessary discussions. Missing information, delayed responses, rescheduling, or agreed changes may affect timing. We will communicate material changes to an agreed schedule.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
The price and payment terms will be shown before purchase. Any additional work or charges require your agreement.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. Do not email complete payment card details.
Payment for an assessment does not authorize charges for implementation or other additional services.
REFUNDS
Lead Leak Checkup
You may cancel and request a full refund by emailing [email protected] within 24 hours after purchase, provided you have not started the questionnaire.
Full Workflow Assessment
You may cancel and request a full refund by emailing [email protected] within 48 hours after purchase, provided you have not started the questionnaire.
For both assessments, refund eligibility ends at the earlier of:
• The end of the applicable refund window; or
• When you begin answering the questionnaire.
Opening the questionnaire link alone does not count as starting it.
Once you begin answering the questionnaire, the purchase is non-refundable, except where required by law.
LEAD LEAK CHECKUP WRITTEN CLARIFICATION PROMISE
If anything in your Lead Leak Checkup findings is unclear after our walkthrough, email [email protected] within seven days after the walkthrough.
We will provide one written clarification at no extra cost.
This promise is separate from the 24-hour refund window. It does not extend that window.
The clarification explains the delivered findings. It does not include a new assessment, implementation work, or additional services.
This specific clarification promise applies to the Lead Leak Checkup. Any additional promise for another service must be expressly stated in that offer or a written agreement.
FINDINGS, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND RESULTS
Our findings depend on the information available during the assessment. An assessment may not identify every issue in a business.
Recommendations are intended to support operational decisions. You remain responsible for your business decisions, implementation choices, and any specialist advice needed.
We do not guarantee a particular increase in revenue, profit, bookings, or savings, or the elimination of every workflow problem.
This section does not limit the deliverables or clarification promise expressly included in your purchase, or rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
AI-ASSISTED WORK
With your recorded agreement, we may use OpenAI’s API service to help organize information, examine workflow evidence, and draft findings or recommendations.
AI can make mistakes. Sue reviews and approves the client report.
Our Privacy Policy explains the information involved and relevant provider practices. Accepting these Terms alone does not replace the recorded AI agreement required for your case.
You may withdraw permission for future AI processing by emailing [email protected]. We will discuss how this affects any unfinished service. Withdrawal does not undo processing that has already taken place.
PRIVACY AND WEBSITE TRACKING
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information about website visitors, prospective clients, and clients.
Certain pages use Meta Pixel and Lead Hacker. Lead Hacker may identify visitors without a form submission where matching information is available.
Acceptance of these Terms does not retroactively authorize tracking that has already occurred or replace a separate consent or opt-out process required by applicable law.

EMAIL, TEXT MESSAGES, AND PHONE COMMUNICATIONS
We may communicate about inquiries, appointments, purchases, service delivery, and support through email, phone, or text, with any required consent.
If you separately opt in to marketing messages, we may also send information about our services and offers.
Providing a phone number, purchasing a service, or being identified by a tracking tool does not by itself constitute consent to marketing text messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Text messages are sent by The Unseen Step. Depending on your consent, messages may include appointment reminders, service updates, report-password delivery, or promotional information.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to the number that sent the message to opt out. You may receive a confirmation of your opt-out. To receive messages again, complete the applicable opt-in process.
For assistance, reply HELP or email [email protected].
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and telling us when it changes.
REPORT DELIVERY AND PASSWORDS
Finished client reports are delivered by email as password-protected PDFs.
The password is sent separately, normally by text message to your confirmed phone number or by phone call.
You are responsible for protecting your report and password after receipt and for deciding who within your business may access them.
A PDF password protects the attachment; it does not protect your email account or prevent an authorized recipient from sharing the contents.
OWNERSHIP AND USE OF MATERIALS
You retain ownership of the documents and other materials you provide. You authorize us to use those materials as reasonably needed to deliver your purchased service, subject to your privacy choices and any required permissions.
The Unseen Step retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, templates, branding, and general service materials.
After payment, you may use your purchased reports and recommendations within your business. You may share them with employees, advisers, and implementation providers who need them for that purpose.
You may not resell our reports or templates, publish them as your own work, or distribute them as a competing product without written permission.
Any separate agreement about custom implementation work or ownership of its deliverables controls that work.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to:
• Use our website or services for unlawful purposes
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or another person’s information
• Interfere with website or service operation
• Submit malicious files or instructions intended to compromise systems
• Provide information you are not authorized to disclose
• Misrepresent your identity or authority
THIRD-PARTY TOOLS AND WEBSITES
We may use or recommend third-party tools. Their availability, pricing, features, and operation are outside our control.
Purchasing an assessment does not include third-party subscriptions or software fees unless expressly stated.
Links to third-party websites do not mean we control their content or practices. Review their terms before using them.
SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
We may suspend or end services where reasonably necessary because of unlawful use, a material breach of these Terms, or a significant security concern.
Where appropriate, we will notify you and provide an opportunity to address the issue.
Suspension or termination does not automatically remove your refund rights or other rights under applicable law. Any outstanding payment, unfinished work, and applicable refund will be addressed under the purchased offer, written agreement, and applicable law.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Unseen Step is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or services, including lost profits or business opportunities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
QUESTIONS AND DISPUTES
If you have a concern, please email [email protected] with the relevant information so we can try to resolve it.
This request does not prevent you from exercising legal rights, making a complaint, or meeting a legal deadline.
These Terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Any mandatory protections or rights available to you remain in effect.
These Terms do not require arbitration or waive access to small-claims court.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms and post the revised version with a new effective date.
Changes will apply prospectively. We will not retroactively change the agreed price, refund window, or promised deliverables for an existing purchase without your agreement, except where required by law.
